MOLD FINISHER

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has a full time, direct hire Mold Finisher opportunity in the Windsor/Essex area. MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• Minimum 2+ years recent Mold Spotting experience

• Final preparation and finishing/benching of mold components

• Hand-finishing, polishing, and detailing mold parts, using specialized tools and techniques

• Inspect and evaluate molds for defects, imperfections, or inconsistencies making necessary adjustments or repair

• Occasional service calls or attending try-outs at customer locations

• Proficient reading blueprints to achieve desired surface textures and finishes

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

​

• Minimum High school diploma required

• Technical Trade or 4th year apprenticeship a definite asset

 

HOURLY PAY RANGE:

• $25 - $28/hr Depending on experience
