DRIVER/LABORER     (OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has a direct hire, full time position, for a Driver/Laborer in the Oakland County area, who must also be able to handle the physical demands required, starting in May.

• Steady day shift Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

• Saturday 8-12 pm, MUST be able to work every other Saturday

• No benefits at this time

 

SUMMARY

​

• MUST be minimum 21 years of age

• Will be required to drive a smaller version of a cube van

• Comfortable working as a team to achieve goals

• Daily heavy lifting required with a helper

• Removal of furniture, appliances, hot tubs, pianos,

• construction debris and other junk removal

• 90% exterior removal, 10% interior removal

• Only need to load the truck once, box then tilts and dumps

• MUST enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

• MUST be proficient using computers for on-site quoting

• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong sales and customer service skills

• Familiarity with the Oakland County area an asset

• Other duties as needed when slow

 

MINIMUM DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

​

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

• MUST be able to provide a clean drivers abstract

• MUST have valid car insurance

 

HOURLY PAY:

​

• $18/hr to start plus lucrative tips paid weekly

• Sales incentives after 90 days

• Monthly perfect attendance bonuses
