DRIVER/LABORER - JUNK REMOVALS    (WIXOM MICHIGAN)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an IMMEDIATE direct hire, full time position, for a Driver/ Laborer required for residential and commercial junk, and scrap removal in the whole Metro Detroit area, who MUST have a valid drivers license, Chauffeurs license, and your own transportation. NOTE: Truck pick up is in Wixom Michigan, but work will be done in the Metro Detroit area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

​

• MUST be minimum 21 years of age

• Will be required to drive a smaller version of a cube van

• Comfortable working as a team to achieve goals

• Daily heavy lifting required with a helper

• Removal of furniture, appliances, hot tubs, pianos,

• construction debris and other junk removal

• Only need to load the truck once, box then tilts and dumps

• MUST enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

• MUST be proficient using computers for on-site quoting

• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong sales and customer service skills

• Familiarity with the Metro Detroit area an asset

• Other duties as needed when slow

 

MINIMUM DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

​

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation to work

• MUST have a Chauffeurs license

• MUST have valid car insurance

 

HOURLY PAY:

​

• $18/hr to start plus lucrative tips paid weekly

• (Employees average $28 - $30/hr with OT, tips and incentives)

• Once trained, employees averaging $300+ per week in tips alone)

• Sales incentives after 90 days

• Monthly perfect attendance bonuses​​
