DRIVER/LABORER     (WIXOM MICHIGAN)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has a direct hire, full time position, for a Driver/Laborer in the Wixom Michigan area, who must also be able to handle the physical demands required.  Will be working in the Oakland County area, but truck pickup daily will be in Wixom Michigan

• Saturday 8-12 pm, MUST be able to work every other Saturday

SUMMARY

​

• MUST be minimum 21 years of age

• Will be required to drive a smaller version of a cube van

• Comfortable working as a team to achieve goals

• Daily heavy lifting required with a helper

• Removal of furniture, appliances, hot tubs, pianos,

• construction debris and other junk removal

• 90% exterior removal, 10% interior removal

• Only need to load the truck once, box then tilts and dumps

• MUST enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

• MUST be proficient using computers for on-site quoting

• Excellent interpersonal skills including strong sales and customer service skills

• Familiarity with the Oakland County area an asset

• Other duties as needed when slow

 

MINIMUM DRIVER REQUIREMENTS:

​

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

• MUST be able to provide a clean drivers abstract

• MUST have valid car insurance

 

HOURLY PAY:

​

• $18/hr to start plus lucrative tips paid weekly

• Sales incentives after 90 days

• Monthly perfect attendance bonuses
