JUNIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT JOB OPPORTUNITY

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an immediate opening for a Junior Staff Accountant in the Tecumseh area.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• 2 years’ experience in a public accounting firm with Notice to Reader

  • Corporate and personal tax return experience

• Experience with Canadian taxes an asset

• Formal tax education and updates, with understanding of Section 85,

  • TOSI and passive income

• US and cross border tax experience (treaty) an asset

• Any Cloud based application experience would be a definite asset;

  • CaseWare Cloud, CCH iFirm Taxprep, QuickBooks Online

  • G Suite and/or other supporting applications

• Self-employment experience

• Bookkeeping experience a must

• Multi-contractor experience

• Own transportation required

• Able to work with minimum supervision

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Post-Secondary Education

• Working towards the CPA designation

 

HOURLY RANGE:

 

• Up to $23/hr Depending on experience
