CNC MACHINIST (CONTINENTAL SHIFTS)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an IMMEDIATE direct hire CNC Machinist position in the Windsor/Essex area. Some roughing and programming experience required. MUST be able to work continental shifts, have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• Minimum 1 - 2 years CNC Machinist experience required

• Set up and operate BF 160 rough machining equipment including lathes, mills and CNC machines

• Operate and set up machinery to perform rough machining operations on metal components

• Remove excess material from workpieces to prepare for subsequent finishing processes

• Select appropriate cutting tools feeds and speeds

• Load and unload workpieces into machining equipment with proper clamping and alignment

• Ability to rough molds and finish using Lemoine or Tebis

• Experience working on a BF 160 rough machine a definite plus

• Able to use precision measuring instruments

• Experience working with 3 and 5 axis machines

• Proficient reading blueprints

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Machining Trade school Certification preferred

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

• $20 - $30/hr DOE
