309A MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN      (LEAMINGTON)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an immediate Direct Hire opening for a Licensed 309A Maintenance Electrician in Leamington, Ontario. Experience in an industrial, commercial or agricultural environment an asset. MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation.

COMPANY OFFERINGS:

​

• Training Day shift 8 am - 4:30 pm

• After probation Swing shifts required 4 am - 12 pm and 11 am - 7 pm

• Saturdays and Sundays 4 am - 4 pm as required

• Typically work 5 days per week with overtime optional, 40 - 50 hours/week

• Extended health care, dental, vision, life insurance, profit sharing, 3 weeks vacation first year, and uniform/work wear provided after probationary period

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

​​​

• 4 years electrical knowledge including troubleshooting and repairing systems from 24 VDC/VAC to 575 VDC/VAC

• Full time Electrician duties till completion of project, then will work with maintenance team on day-to-day repairs, projects and electrical work

• MUST hold a 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician

• Familiar with VFD and able to trouble shoot, read manual and program

• Work with CMMS program for work orders and PM schedules

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment

• An understanding of PLC software, controls, automation programs, trouble shooting, setup and repair

• Daily inspections and preventative maintenance of plant machinery

• Willing to fill-in when needed in production and basic duties around plant

• Able to work at heights

• Help with keeping work areas clean

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician ticket

 

HOURLY PAY:

​

• $45/hr DOE
