SHIFT OPERATOR/ MAINTENANCE JOB OPPORTUNITY

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an immediate opening for a Shift Operator/Maintenance Technician, in Leamington. Greenhouse or agricultural environment experience a plus!

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• 3+ years experience in a shift/plant operator position, with  maintenance/millwright experience

• Assist supervisor with updating health and safety related documentation

• General maintenance, fabrication and repair service experience

• Troubleshoot and install machinery and resolve mechanical issues

• Repair gearboxes, pneumatic systems, and bearing replacement

• PLC control systems and computer service experience

• Industrial electrical experience an asset

• Position is 60% maintenance and 40% shift operator

• Plan, prioritize and conduct scheduled maintenance

 

• Ongoing workplace inspections

• Complete work orders and requisitions

• Able to identify safety concerns and resolve immediately

• Must be mechanically inclined and have own tools

• Able to read blueprints

• Proficient with Microsoft Office

• Own transportation required

 

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS:

 

• Minimum High School Diploma

• Trade certification an asset

• Truck or heavy equipment license preferred 

 

HOURLY RANGE:

 

• Up to $25/hr depending on experience
