INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an Injection Molding Process Technician in the Windsor/Essex area. Responsible for setting up, starting, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding machines and associated tooling MUST be able to work steady afternoons, have a valid driver’s license, your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years' experience in plastic injection molding or moldmaking

• Set up, operate, and troubleshot injection molding machines, molds,

  •  and auxiliary equipment

• Proficient in mold changes, startups/shutdowns, and process parameter adjustments

• Experienced in documenting machine settings and production data

• Manage material handling and blending

• Proficient reading blueprints, understand tooling/process control,

• ERP systems and Microsoft Office experience

• Able to mentor team members and collaborate across departments effectively

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• College diploma in manufacturing or final year of apprenticeship

HOURLY RANGE:

 

• $    30 - $40/hr DOE
