CLASS A MOLDMAKER

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has IMMEDIATE Class A Moldmaker position in the Windsor/Essex area. MUST be able to work rotating shifts, have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• 10+ years experience as a Moldmaker preferred

• Mold fitting & assembly expertise including installation of ejector and runner systems, accurately fit and assemble molds, cooling and heating circuits, and final mold inspection in spotting presses

• Repair and maintain molds used in the mass production of plastic or metal components, ensuring quality and functionality

• Advanced blueprint reading skills and documentation review

• Precision measurement & inspection duties for part accuracy and traceability

• Tooling development to devise detailed mold-building plans, verify component features, calculate requirements, and create necessary templates and tooling aids

• Strong communication & reporting of any tooling issues

• Forklift and crane certification for mold transfer

• MUST have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moldmaker Trade Certification required

• Red Seal endorsement is an asset, but not mandatory

 

HOURLY RANGE:

• $30 - $35+/hr DOE

• (Higher rate possible DOE)
