MOLDMAKER (ALL LEVELS)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has IMMEDIATE openings for Apprentice, Intermediate and Senior level Moldmakers in the Windsor/Essex area. MUST have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation

• Rotating 10 hour Shifts required

• 3 months days shift, then 1 month afternoons/midnights, then repeats,

• IMPORTANT: Midnights will be required to do 1 month per year (but could change due to workload or changes)

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• 1-5+ years Moldmaking experience

• Assembly and disassembly of molds

• Spotting of components

• Delegation and set up of daily line-ups

• Experience using micrometers, verniers and calipers

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Apprentice to Moldmaker Trade Certification

• High School Diploma

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

• $23 to $33+/hr Depending on experience
