WELDER (STEADY DAYS)

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has immediate openings experienced Welders in the Windsor/Essex area. MUST be able to read blueprints, have a valid drivers license and your own transportation. Custom Fabrication experience required.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• Minimum 2 years MIG Welding experience

• Current CWB Certification an asset

• Custom fabrication experience required, not production welding

• Weld fabricated components to assembled structural steel pieces

• Repair machinery by welding steel pieces together

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Able to troubleshoot machinery and resolve mechanical issues

• Forklift and Crane Certification an asset

• Have own welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes and glasses

• MUST have a valid drivers license and own transportation

 

HOURLY RANGE:

• Pays $23/hr DOE , $24/hr if CWB Certified and DOE
