EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Minimum 2 years recent Welding experience

• Current CWB Certification a definite asset

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Layout, fit and weld fabricated components to assembled structural steel pieces

• Customized welder fitting, not production welding

• Able to troubleshoot machinery and resolve mechanical issues

 

• Repair parts if needed by reshaping, straightening or dismantling pieces

• Forklift and Crane Certification an asset

• Able to thrive in a fast paced industrial work environment

• Hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity required

• Own basic set of tools; welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes and glasses

• Own transportation required as not on a bus route

 

HOURLY RANGE:

 

• $20 - $25/HR depending on experience
