WELDER FITTER JOB OPPORTUNITIES – SENIOR LEVEL

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has upcoming Senior level Welder Fitter position , in the Windsor/Essex area,  MUST be able to read blueprints and have a valid drivers license and your own transportation.  Custom fabrication experience required

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• Minimum 3 years recent Welder Fitting experience

• Current CWB Certification a definite asset

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Layout, fit and weld fabricated components to assembled structural steel pieces

• Custom welder fitter experience required, not production welding

• Able to troubleshoot machinery and resolve mechanical issues

 

• Repair parts if needed by reshaping, straightening or dismantling pieces

• Forklift and Crane Certification an asset

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced industrial work environment

• Hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity required

• MUST have your own welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes and glasses

• MUST have a valid drivers license adn your own transportation

 

HOURLY RANGE:

 

• Pays $25 - $28/hour depending on experience
