MOLD DESIGNER                 (Junior to Intermediate level)

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an Immediate Mold Designer role in Windsor/Essex, with experience in plastic injection mold design, for the automotive industry. MUST have experience using Cimatron design software and have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an injection mold design department

• Complete full plastic injection mold designs

• Experience in conducting feasibility studies

• MUST be proficient using Cimatron CAD software

• Experience reading blueprints and engineering drawings

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• MUST have a valid drivers’ license and your own reliable transportatio

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical Engineering or relatable education

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

• Pays $23 - $29/hr DOE​
