EDM OPERATOR

​

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an IMMEDIATE direct hire EDM Operator position in the Windsor/Essex area. Must have extensive experience operating and programming EDM machines, to manufacture high-precision mold components from 3D models. MUST be able to work steady afternoons, have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation

COMPANY OFFERS:

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• 3+ years EDM Operator experience preferred

• Program, set up, and operate EDM machines using Cimatron (preferred) or MasterCAM, based on 3D CAD models

• Machine mold components, including cores, cavities, and detailed features, ensuring first-time quality

• Inspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring tools

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and report equipment issues

• Support machine repairs and participate in required training and team meetings

• Maintain accurate logs and communication to ensure smooth shift transitions

• MUST have a valid drivers license and your own transportation

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical Technical Diploma or Equivalent 3+ years hands on experience in programming and operating preferred

 

HOURLY RANGE:

• $30 - $33+/hr DOE
