ELECTRICIAN APPRENTICE - COMPLETED

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Electrician - Apprentice who has finished their schooling and apprenticeship hours, in the Windsor/Essex area. Experience working in moldmaking work environment required. Must have a valid drivers license, your own transportation and tools.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

  • 2+ years experience as an Electrician Apprentice in a moldmaking environment

  • Assist in Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repair electrical issues on molding equipment, CNC machines, and related equipment

  • Help with Installation and commissioning of new moldmaking machinery

  • Inspect, maintain, and replace components such as motors, drives, sensors, relays, and PLCs

  • Maintain documentation of all electrical repairs, upgrades, and inspections

  • Routine preventive maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime

  • Maintain and troubleshoot control panels, PLCs, VFDs and HMI systems

  • Proficient reading blueprints and have strong problem-solving skills

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • College Diploma in Electrical Technology or relatable program

  • Completion of Electrician apprenticeship program

  • Additional certification in PLC programming, or automation a plus

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

  • $28 - $29/hr

​
