Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has IMMEDIATE opportunities for an Extrusion Set-Up Technician in the St. Laurent, Quebec area. Experience in plastic profile, extrusion and tooling an asset

​

COMPANY OFFERINGS:

• Direct Hire Opportunity

• 8 hour swing shifts ; days, afternoons and midnight shifts

• MUST be able to work all 3 shifts, on an 8 week rotation

• Shift bonus for afternoons and midnights

• Unionized position, no overtime at this time

• Paid sick/personal time accumulates and eligible after 6 months

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

• 3+ years production experience in the extrusion/manufacturing process

• MUST have Profile extrusion set up technician experience

• Mechanical assembly of tooling and dies

• Ability to perform testing compliance and quality assurance checks

• Prepare and submit reports

• Start up, operation, changeovers, shutdown and troubleshooting of extrusion lines

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum High school diploma

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

• $22 - $35/hr to start Depending on experience

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. a des opportunités IMMÉDIATES pour un Technicien de montage en extrusion dans la région de St. Laurent, Québec. Une expérience dans l’extrusion de profilés plastiques et l’outillage est un atout.

OFFRES DE L’ENTREPRISE :

• Opportunité d'embauche directe

• Quarts de travail rotatifs de 8 heures : jour, après-midi et nuit

• DOIT être en mesure de travailler sur les 3 quarts, sur une rotation de 8 semaines

• Prime de quart pour les quarts d'après-midi et de nuit

• Poste syndiqué, pas d’heures supplémentaires pour le moment

EXIGENCES D’EMPLOI :

• 3+ ans d'expérience en production dans le processus d'extrusion/fabrication

• DOIT avoir une expérience en tant que technicien de montage en extrusion de profiles

• Assemblage mécanique d'outillage et de matrices

• Capacité à effectuer des tests de conformité et des vérifications d'assurance qualité

• Préparer et soumettre des rapports

• Démarrage, exploitation, changements de format, arrêt et dépannage des lignes d'extrusion

 

EXIGENCES EN MATIÈRE D'ÉDUCATION :

• Diplôme D’études Secondaires minimum

 

ÉCHELLE SALARIALE :

​

• $22 - $35/h pour commencer, selon l'expérience
