CNC LEADER/MANAGER

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an enticing opportunity for an experienced, hands-on CNC Department Leader/Manager in the Windsor/Essex area. Must have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

​

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a CNC Department Leader or relatable position

  • Experience overseeing the daily operations of the CNC machining department

  • Training and mentoring new hires, while motivating existing employees, to achieve company goals and deadlines

  • Able to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions of machinery

  • Hands-on team leader able to assist with CNC machining to meet deadlines

  • Scheduling and coordinating work shift and materials for the entire machining department

  • Troubleshooting technical issues with CNC machines and collaborating with maintenance teams for repairs

  • Daily job costing review to make sure department is profitable at all stages

  • Managing budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and reduce costs

  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and your own reliable transportation

  • Proficient reading blueprints and engineering drawings

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

​

  • Minimum High school diploma required

  • College Diploma in a relatable CNC machining trade

 

HOURLY RANGE:

  • $36+/hr DOE
