MOLDMAKER APPRENTICE

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has IMMEDIATE openings for Moldmaker Apprentices in the Windsor/Essex area who must have minimum 1 year experience. MUST be able to work rotating shifts, have a valid driver’s license, your own transportation and your own tools for the position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

​

• 1-3+ years Moldmaker Apprentice experience required

• Work under the supervision of an experienced moldmaker

• Support mold disassembly, cleaning, polishing, and reassembly tasks

• Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce mold components

• Proficient reading blueprints

• Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Maintain accurate logs of materials used

• Experience using precision measuring tools

• Forklift and crane certification an asset

• MUST have a valid drivers’ license and your own transportation

• MUST have your own set of tools

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moldmaker Apprenticeship program completed or in process

 

HOURLY RANGE:

​

• $19 - $25 /hr Wages depending on experience level)
