CNC BORING MILL MACHINIST/PROGRAMMER  

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an opening for a CNC Boring Mill Machinist/Programmer in Windsor/Essex.  MUST have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• 5+ years experience operating CNC Boring Mills

• Set up, program, and operate Toshiba CNC Boring Mills

• Set up jobs using clamps, traditional blocks and FCS workholding

• CNC Programming experience required - troubleshooting and G code editing

• Machining plates, castings and weldments

• Experience using Tosnuc Controls

• MasterCam software experience a plus

• Experience using precision measuring tools

 

• Strong blueprint reading skills

• Overhead crane certified or experienced

• Mechanically inclined

• Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation

 

Education Requirements:

 

• Minimum High school diploma required or experience

• Trade school certification a definite asset

 

Hourly Range; 

 

• Pays $30 - $35/hr DOE
