JUNIOR CNC MACHINIST   

 

Platinum Direct Hire Inc. has an opening for a Junior CNC Machinist in Windsor/Essex.  MUST have a valid driver’s license and your own transportation.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

 

• 2+ years experience running CNC Machines or precision metal cutting

• Set up, program, and operate Toshiba CNC Boring Mills

• Set up jobs using clamps, traditional blocks and FCS workholding

• CNC Programming experience a plus

• Machining plates, castings and weldments

• Experience using Tosnuc Controls an asset

• MasterCam software experience a plus

• Experience using precision measuring tools

 

• Able to read blueprints

• Overhead crane certified or experienced

• Mechanically inclined

• Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation

 

Education Requirements:

 

• Minimum High school diploma required or experience

• Trade school certification a definite asset

 

Hourly Range; 

 

• Pays $20 - $25/hr DOE
